No news on any pre employment starting again as of yet the process includes coming in dressed up no jeans, sneakers, shorts or sweat pants, you then fill out all the jobs you had and any breaks in between, also make sure you have your high-school diploma or ged on hand and also make sure you have no parking tickets because they'll have you pay them before going forward and then last you pee in a cup I believe and you wait between 30 and 90 days for an answer. When I last went I received an email to come in for final processing less than 30 days. This was last year if you have any other questions feel free to ask and I'll be more than glad to help you.

what's your list number? maybe they're contacting people who are closer to being called again just speculation.

I did back in school car for conductor back last June but I signed the bottom of the paper because I knew they weren't no where near close to my list number which is 131X

Btw did you check your email because MTA sent a survey to people asking if they're still interested in being hired in the future.

I agree a lot of people don't make it even past school car there was a conductor in school car for train operator who moved the train during the yard practical even though he was told not to, happened in Livonia Yard they told him to simulate what he would do. From what I'm hearing from a lot of train operators its not hard but its up to the person if they can grasp what's going on.

You never know the last appointed was 1228, you never know how many people the MTA will be looking to hire in the next 2 years.

Yeah I heard the same exact thing from a school car TSS who was at Pelham Bay last week. He said there's definitely going to be more classes sometime soon, how soon no clue probably before the end of this year or the beginning of next year probably. Sadly we lost a lot of people due to COVID 19 that we need more employees 😞

Next month I'm off probation for c/r I'm ready to jump to the front so I agree how many vacancies do they intend on filling. But like I said previously I've heard a lot of people are going to start retiring and a lot of us sadly have passed away so they need bodies to operate these trains.

Yeah I got the email I heard from someone that they're starting classes in June don't quote me though

Yeah don't call and complain a couple worker of mine said he called to complain and they did him dirty. They messed up his RDOs and his tour and the train line he was on

They also sent my an email for train operator to respond to, I'm assuming they're doing this because of the people who've retired and who have passed away.

You never know they might be extending the list or might not, you never know what might happen in 2 years from now. But from what I've heard a lot people are going to be retiring by the end of this year. Just hold on tight and have high hopes!

I've seen a schoolcar tss at 242 but I haven't seen them bothering people as much.

Nobody is perfect down here we all learn from mistakes and its someone's first time operating a train so it takes getting used to. I want to congratulate everybody who came out recently in March of this year.

Honestly bro/sis who cares what anybody else thinks about what we post if we find it relevant then post what ever you feel like posting. Don't let anybody govern what you can and can't post. BTW I'm not bashing or trying to disrespect @nipaaaa or @ren so don't take it like that. But we are all a family and future co workers let's act like a family. Remember like I posted before I care about everyone in the group no matter who they are. PS everybody be safe from the virus its already killed over 100 of our co workers, some young and some old.
