Good just a lot of cramming of information, and its true what they said the the role of a conductor isn't just about opening and closing doors. -

You get two more thick books and then a ton of other papers and then all your equipment and make sure you get a notebook and loose leaf papers just in case they ask for you guys to do homework on a separate paper, and index cards and a highlighter if you so wish to make studying easier. -

And ladies and guys who are entering school car soon aka this month or in August make sure you get a heavy duty bag where the straps can get tucked away, because you're not allowed to cross any tracks what so ever with any bags with straps hanging everywhere. Imagined a strap getting caught by a train and dragging you with it, it wouldnt be fun. I bought the kaka bag from Amazon and with that bag you're able to zip up the back straps. And I say a heavy duty bag because your bag is going to be super heavy with all the PPEs and books you'll be carrying around every single day. -

I wanted the B divison but got tossed into the A divison because the B division got filled up quickly. It could be easier because the A division only has 7 lines compared to the B division which has 15 lines. Also the A divison has only R188s, R62s, and R142s -

A blank money order for $88.25 (fingerprint processing fee). Dont fill it out they'll tell you what to put down. The fingerprinting is the final part, right after you're sworn in you'll be fingerprinted. -

You would need to bring a money order for your fingerprints to be. And didn't the email they sent you mention everything that would need to bring anyways? -

First day and until you get your uniform you have to wear a baby blue button down shirt and dark navy blue slacks. And make sure to wear them with the boots you ordered. They did the uniform measurements on the 3rd or 4th day down in union hall. -
I picked the rockports just make sure you get a wide if you have a wide foot or bunions or w.e on a side note i saw some people in my c/r class wear caterpillars. I got the rockports and they're comfortable but it goes on appearance I guess. And also make sure you get the right size nothing to small or you'll get blisters on the back of your heels or pain in your feet aka a horrible day.

The only questions they really ask is are you ready to start a good career with pension and amazing benefits. But I only went to two pre employments one in February and then another one in May of 2019 and I was sworn in on June.
