Okay and one last thing we need to wear dark blue pants and light blue button down shirt every day until we get out uniforms right? Just trying to figure out how many of the same pants and shirts I'm going to have to buy lol. Sorry for the bother
Isnt tomorrow just the orientation for us and then Tuesday is when the actual classes start? I'm also nervous/excited for tomorrow and Tuesday. And do we wear the boots that we ordered tomorrow or do we have the wear the boots on Tuesday?
Do we actually study on a train or is it all inside of a school? Because they have me going to orientation Monday and then Tuesday to coney island for the first class.
You're BMI cant be above 35 the doctor stated during the medical he said because the bigger you are apparently it means the more prone you are to sleep apnea
Just make sure you get one before you think you'll get the email so it can be recent just in case they say something. Also just take deep breaths and exhale slowly is usually helps to lower your BP during a check my BP used to be high i got it down to 106 when the mta checked.
It says only to write down things if you were convicted of the crime aka pled guilty. The only exceptions come when you're applying to become part of the nypd, fdny.
Good I ordered mine Monday but apparently when I called the lady said it was placed on Tuesday. Anyways I look forward to seeing my co workers Monday and Tuesday!!!
Yeah I called Ms.Vargas asking her for advice and she was like to defer because I'm already starting conductor. She said the list doesn't expire until 2022 so if I find out conductor isn't for me then I can always put my name back on the list by going to DCAS in person, she also mentioned that if I go for T/O before my probation for conductor is over and I don't pass everything for T/O then I'll have nothing to fall back on and I'll have to wait for the next exam and wait all over again. So I'm going to fill out the paper I got in the mail and send it back to them tomorrow my 2nd PE is June 10th so hopefully they get it before then. And I start orientation for conductor the 10th so unfortunately I can't make it. I wish T/O called me first tbh...
No they dont make you run on a treadmill, and no you dont have to strip down to boxers. The only time you "strip" is when you take your shirt off for the ekg. The doctor also checks your neck size with a measuring tape I believe the cut off for men was 17 and your BMI cant be 35 or over.
Yeah no there isnt I did ekg first and then waiting like half an hour and wait for the diabetes check but then they sent me to do hearing instead, waiting another hour to do the urine diabetes check, and then the vision and weight last... took like 3 hours I was like really
