  1. Even the people who scored a 70 I can't see them hiring people who scored that low im not trying to sound pessimistic but this is all new to me lol
  2. And the list will let the people who didn't receive the opa if they'll be hired or not or does the list have everyone who passed? I never dealt with a list for the mta I only dealt with the list for the NYPD and they send you a letter in the mail with your exam and list number.
  3. So the opa is only given to the top 2000 and then the rest of the people who scored in the 90s would be called after and not receive the opa? And do you know what score number do they stop at? Because I know people who scored in the 70s are probably SOL I could be wrong though that's why im curious to know. Sorry to bother and thanks
  4. I guess I received wrong information didn't know I got a 96 and didn't receive any opa from MTA which is really weird in that case
  5. I heard from someone who works at the MTA for 50 years that they call the people who scored 100 through 105 first and then the 90s next and then etc etc. He said the people between the 90 and 99 should hear something next year or sooner. But they do the people who scored higher first and then work their way down the list. One thing I didn't ask was about the list and when it comes out, does anyone on this forum know what the list number will tell us?
  6. I still haven't received anything in the mail no opa nothing so you guys are lucky and I scored at 96 😑
  7. I know I'm repitive but why isn't everyone getting the opa if they passed aka me I passed and I keep checking my mailbox everyday with nothing from the mta. Does the opa come in an mta envelope or just a plain white one, I'm getting anxiety not knowing if I'm getting one... even though from what I saw from the answers from mta's website I got only 3 questions wrong.
  8. Just go in positively I'm still waiting for my opa, but when I get my letter I'm going to go in with a positive feeling and attitude that's all 😁
  9. So I emailed the mta exams place about the OPA that people didn't receive in the mail yet and this is what they told me... "We are testing over 30,000 applicants. Not everyone will be tested at the same time."
  10. I only got 3 wrong and I haven't received any OPA letter either lol
  11. And did you guys go in street clothes or dressed up two piece suit and tie
  12. When I email them asking them if they email them about the opa what should I say so it sounds good
  13. I haven't forgotten about the test at all lol I've been patiently waiting everyone else who passed seems to get one except me, is it possible to email them and ask if they mailed one out to me?
  14. That's weird i got 3 wrong and i haven't received my opa in the mail at all...
  15. I know you can't give it away but are the questions hard af like anything relevant to mta or nah
  16. I took the fdny exam today and it had the same stuff except they give you a booklet with some notes and they you play an audio and write more notes down and then answer questions
  17. Like wha kind of memory like look at a picture and then answer questions I know the nypd on their exam you had to look at a picture for 10 minutes then it goes away and then you have to answer questions based on what you saw
  18. I could see if they tested you while you're on the job like a random drug test for alcohol since you're controlling a big machine but before you get on the job makes zero sense to me
  19. Why would they drug test for alcohol if alcohol is legal? I could understand drinking on the job but drinking on your free time is bad?
  20. How about in terms of the OPA that some people are getting and that some people aren't getting?
  21. How does testing for alcohol work like no drinking before the test?
