Just checked the mail received passing result on opa exam along with pre-employment letter.

Yeah, I got my list number the same way. I am in the 4xx. If that congestion pricing hits the city, I am sure there is going to be hiring spree.

If that information is correct, it looks like the MTA are in need of a lot of Conductors, because it looks like the initial request was for 2000 candidates . That is the most requested in over a year.

Hey Congrats! I'm just confused as to why they would have an opening for the "AFC position" when they haven't even establish a list yet. Also doesn't this position require your to pass the civil service exam. or are they looking for applicants with just a resume?

Yeah I applied in Feb also, looks like my application hasn't even passed screening. Good luck, I hope the surgery part doesn't pose problem.

Don't know maybe they are calling in applicants by testing site. Franklin K. Lane is my testing site.

Did you take the OPA (ORAL PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT EXAM) ? Speaking of that, has any one heard anything on results or is there really a hiring freeze at the moment? At least they can give result if that is the case.
