@Mlad18 are you saying he never received a call/email after passing S & D exam or cognitive exam?

I believe if u fail the test, you have to wait 1 year, then reapply and if they again select u, then u have to repeat the entire process all over again.. Open house, overview, then sd test again.

 

If im wrong can someone please correct me?

I think that's for failing the initial exam (cognitive exam) at the orientation but im not sure about S & D exam. 

@Wakada if you failed S & D exam, then you are out of the hiring process. I'm pretty sure you can try again IF they pick you after you apply again on the website.

is anybody here who went to the 01/25/2018 orientation finished with everything? If so, did HR tell you when the next class is?

Do you guys know if Block operator and Assistant conductor classes starts on either same or similar dates?

@wstone17 ohh ok, i see. I hope 4 of us who didnt make it to class on April goes to the next upcoming class. I still remember S & D materials.

@wstone17 Nice! Congrats to you and 7 other people!! So between August and October? Damn. Waiting is killing me but im happy as long as I get in. In your classroom, were they all same people from basic training from back in February?

I dont think there is any basic training for A/C position. We probably gonna go to Fall class which starts usually around August ~ October.

I'm in a process for Block Operator Trainee. From my experience, I went to the orientation on 12/21/17 and took the cognitive test and passed, went to S & D overview on 1/31/18 and took the exam on 2/21/18 and passed, then went to the Basic training from 2/26/18 - 3/9/18 and passed, then went to the interview on 3/28/18. I still haven't done Background check and Medical yet but I think those are the last step before getting into class.

I'm in the similar boat with you but for different position. I passed everything also including basic training and did an interview on the last week of March. Ms. Oliver said she will let me know when the next class is (usually September/October for my position).

April class started today...I wonder when the next class is.....still waiting....

Dreamer, you are one of those people who are always negative, complaining all the time, hating and being jealous on other people for little things. Please don't apply for any jobs in NYS and move out to Cali or something, somewhere far away from NYS

Yeah. You will do fine as long as you put time and effort. People like Dreamer just wanna earn easy money who never put any effort or work. I'm processing with different position but the process is kind of similar to A/C. I'm done with everything, just waiting for the background and medical email/call.

I dont mind going into the next class as long as they dont put me out of the hiring list. We passed everything including basic skill after S & D exam.

I didn't receive any emails about background check. I guess they already picked all 8 people before the interview...I hope I can get into the next class.

No I didn't. when did you do the background check? I only went for an interview on 28th and the lady said they will let me know on Monday but i haven't received any emails. I recently had to send my DD214 (military document) to the lady on Wednesday.

No I didn't get any emails regarding an offer of employment. I only received an email and call for the interview date. Does that mean I'm not considered for hire? :/

From what I heard from basic training and interview, they gonna pick people and I was wondering if all people got selected or not. So there were only 3 or 4 people at medical?

Really? congrats! when did you do your interview and how many people were on medical btw? I did interview on 03/28/18 and I'm still waiting for an email/call.
