Hey guys I know I’m not bugging: I call to see what list number they up to I was told they haven’t started using the list yet...do anybody know what list number they up to?

They told me this two weeks ago when I called Ms.chestnut and for futuremta I believe they told him this when he cleared medical hold two week ago

(According to Ms.chestnut the manager Who in charge of hiring new bus operators) Supposedly in June......just be patient you good dude....I’m in the same boat as you only thing different is I had to resign on my first day of training because I did not have a tie so I’m waiting for the next available class which will be in June

Yeah I was told by Ms.chesntut “there is no jobs available call back in two months”......classes are suppose to be every two weeks tho

You good dude as long as you clear your medical hold and reinstate your list number before the List close date you are fine...classes are every two weeks “they claim” I was suppose to be in April 2nd class the lastest class to start was Monday (April 16th) I spoke to human resource there is no April 30th class (hence why I said they claim class is every two weeks)...... Check the forum a lot of ppl was in your situation being place on medical hold...but the best to my knowledge that’s the process you have to do

Real simple take the promotion and once MTA call you leave but don’t leave your job until you officially a MTA conductor (complete training)...these companies and jobs is not loyal to us so why be loyal to them? it’s all business doesn’t matter how long you been with them so don’t look at it as messed up if you take the promotion and Split later on down the line when MTA call

Not interview my first day of training orientation day when you go to Zerega bus facility for the first time...rule is tie is needed for short sleeve and long sleeve shirts up to may then tie only is needed for long sleeve I had a short sleeve shirt on w/o tie before that time period

Smart choice I don’t think a lot of people realize but MTA don’t wait for you and it’s not a guarantee that the next class will have availability for you so if they give you a start date take it I get it if you in school or something but if the only thing stopping you is the job that you currently work at then take it...trust me I know I’m speaking from first hand experience I was suppose to working with MTA right now as a B/O but was sent home my first day because I didn’t have a tie on(no big deal I thought to myself they have classes every two weeks) I was told I will be put in the next class which is the April 16th now I’m being told that the April 16th class is full and will have to wait until further notice...

Hey I seen your post on the 6601 exam thread letting ppl know they had to call nydacs to have their list number reinstated because they defer the class date and or They was put on medical hold my question is do I need to do that In my situation? (I’m the guy that resign because I did not have a tie my first day of training) A bit of a update* I was not able to be put in the next available class(April 16th) according to Ms.chestnut it was full and I will be “Considered” for the next available class once she receive notification for the next class start date from MTA

Is Ms. Vargas one of the managers? If so do you have her number? because the other manager (Ms.chestnut) never pick up her phone

It’s been awhile ago can’t find the number but I know for sure it was a 347 number try checking your email and search nyct.com I really do have a feeling they contacted you through email as well

Also check your email junk mail with me They called me one time didn’t leave a voicemail I found out when I had to go back for full body medical because the email went to my junk mail as if it was spam

Strange should have not taken that long to receive a response back if I were you I would go down there now before they close and or go in the morning and tell them your situation

Yes it will be from Ms.Chestnut when did you take the urine test? They Tell you a week or two but you should receive a call/email in three days to come back for the full body interview...when you go for the full body which is final processing make sure you bring a money order and if you care about how you look in pictures keep in mind you will be taking your photo for the employee metrocard

I need help guys on what to do and expect: I was sent home my first day of orentation because I did not have a tie on (even though I was wearing a short sleeve shirt) they had me and several other ppl sign resignation papers and told us to go back to 180 Livingston street to do the rehiring process this happen on Monday They said to wait until Thursday,I actually went straight to 180 Livingston street from Zenega I spoke to the women that handle my hiring process and gave me my start date,she had me write a letter stating that “I would like to be reconsider for the position again” she told me not to worry they have bus operator classes like every two weeks and that she will put me in the next available class...even though that was good to hear I don’t like to get my hopes up...do anybody know if the information I received was accurate? And would I have to do the whole process over? *UPDATE* I called HR I was told that I have to wait until they receive my paperwork from MTA (they should have it since it’s thursday and the guy from Zerega told me wait til Thursday to speak to HR) to consider me for the next available class....do anybody know how long will that take? Is there anything else I need to do? Like reinstate my list number the lady that hire me told me that all my information. Was still in the system ahh man I’m stress... One of my friends got called for medical you should have got one as well he will be in the April 16th class that’s if your talking about the full body medical

The question that everybody was asking has finally been answer this is good news >>>>

First you will listen to a tape recording and answer questions based on what you heard they ask questions like: if the 4 train is running express from 42nd to 125th what stations did the 4 train did not make stops at?...after these questions you go to another room where they have you look at pictures and from these pictures you have to answer their questions for ex they will show a pic of a person laying on the floor next to his bike what do you think happen to him? You will respond saying he fell off his bike (also during this process your responses will be recorded on cassette tape)

Yeah I am,( I go tomorrow I already did the drug test I don’t know why they don’t just have you do the drug and physical at the same time) after the full body physical will I get a start date on the spot? or I will have to wait again and come back to good ole 180 Livingston street lol
