For me it was a bit challenging because I don’t like memorizing exact wording. I knew what the signals meant and all, but you know they want it in their exact wording so it was a bit tricky for me lol

TSS FInger is awesome! He’s always willing to teach and help you out. He’s a super cool dude. Good thing they havent mention nothing nothing about the May class. We keeping it that way. Lol

Yeah. The pace is blazing fast, especially when you gotta learn a new language and all the equipments and signals and practical. Did they mention anything about the May class ?! Yeah I heard that rumor also that this test was the last open competitive exam they giving. Moving forward the T/O will be promotional only. *So they say* lol the majority of the stuff you learn on your own. Schoolcar will never prepare you fully for what to expect. I guarantee when a T/O comes out, they will only remember just a few lineups, and that’s a stretch also. Lineup cards are my best friend right now. They never leave my book bag lol

She better have lots of patience then. If the mta wanna keep pushing out T/O on to the road that’s not ready yet then mistake will happen. It is what it is.

It depends how long they going back to school car. When I say I doubt it, My initial thinking is going back for more then a month. If it’s for a few days then I guessssss it’s possible. I got less then a month to get off probation. Counting down the days.

Well that’s understandable. That happens all the time. That’s another TSS telling your school car TSS that that person is shaky and is going to fail. In that other post, you made it sound like your own TSS will tell other TSS’s that your operating is horrible thus putting a target on your back. Thats the part I was saying, they wouldn’t do that because it’s gon make them look like a bad trainer.

I don’t think they would be telling others because that’s would make them look like a bad TSS that couldn’t train his student well enough to Operate a train. It would make them look like a bad trainer. You get what I’m saying right?!

You won’t have a nice conversation with a superintendent. Road ops is a control environment. That’s the perfect time to do it. It’s just you and your school car TSS in an empty train. If you do that during road posting then that’s a different story lol

You just answered your own question. Those two tickets matter, you can’t have no tickets PENDING. They will put you on hold if you show up until you take care of the tickets. You can’t have no tickets pending what so ever.

Quick question. Did any of you guys take the BOSS survey?! I was reading that if you didn’t take the BOSS Survey then you wouldn’t get your score exam or list number. I didn’t take my BOSS exam because I am in school car for train operator but I somehow still received my score and list number

Yeah, a bunch of people started the class already on may 29th.

For pre-employment they said it would take all day, but I was out the door by 12pm even with the drug test. But I did go the other day for final processing and people was there all day for pre-employment because the lab was backed up, people was told to comeback within an hr for the drug test and that was around 2 and 3 pm. So my suggestion is don’t make no plans for that day and be prepared to be there all day.

A lot of people is getting disqualified due to having bad driving records or their paper work not matching up
