  1. It’s just a lot of double parking to deal with driving in Brooklyn and the narrow streets. Have to constantly pull over for the other bus or big vehicles to get by in some streets. Especially the B60 and B38. If you can pick a Depot in the City do so. More rooms to drive and bus lanes. Most of Brooklyn don’t have bus lanes to drive in making it so much more difficult and horrible people doubled park and refuse to make. Oh and don’t forget the entitled folks that just jump on and off.
  2. I’m 7 months in. Everything seems complicated in the beginning but was told with time on the job it’s great. I’m hanging in there.
  3. I feel the same way sometimes. I said why my sisters and nephew think this is the best job ever. I complain every day to my husband, he said I know you love driving and I taught this is your dream job like you said. Now I’m having that iffy feeling questioning myself if this is what I really want. I love the driving and everything but I guess when you cannot pick or set your own schedules, that’s when it really gets to you. I ain’t going to lie, I thing most people on this job killing themes to make that money. The taxes they taking from your paychecks are unbelievably ridiculous. I still want to make my own decision on how I work and spend my time on earth. This job is doing great things for people but don’t let them fool you, you have to grind for that money to make sense.
  4. Follow the dress code guys, they’re very militant over there at Zerega. They’re looking for some kids to boss around. Some of them are too darn much.
  5. Any non skid/slip from sketchers are acceptable. And any boots.
  6. Why those people lying to you guys. They have a class every 2 weeks, until the end of 2022. Yes every 2 weeks we were told that at Zerega
  7. You are so right about that. I had a hard time too and give a good fight for them to get me in. They be lying about not have upcoming class so you wouldn’t bother them.
  8. Usually you get cleared on the same day if you went in with an appointment. I walked in to be medically cleared and because of no appointment they did not cleared me the same day. Hopefully they call you soon. It can be a pain the butt to get on to them.
  9. Oh boy. That class A you still have to go to Eastchester for that Class B training. Had one guy from my group with the class A. It’s like doing it all over again.
  10. Ok. It was giving me hard time but I finally get to it.
  11. Good evening. Was anyone able to apply for the TA test that is out?
  12. This is very untrue. They’re hiring every 2 weeks. They just don’t want you guy to keep calling etc. they told me the same thing meanwhile they were hiring the whole time.
  13. No waiting dear you have to be pro active with them at 180. I use to be at my sister when she told me I have to keep calling and emailing them. Eventually I had to do just that. Trust and believe they forget you sometimes. I had the royal run around, sending emails on top of emails even to the big boss, that’s when I got answers.
  14. Let TA be your 1st pick. It’s a Civil Service position, if at anytime there’s a strike they have to find other civil service positions to place you, they cannot lay you off. We were told that at Zerega.
  15. If anyone in the process of being hired for MBSTOA and have plans on going to Grand Avenue Depot, please bear in mind the parking is ridiculously sucks. If you don’t get get there before 5am you cannot find parking space. And this Depot is in a high trafficking area with lots of warehouses and big trucks blocking traffic for long periods of time. I will not stay there for that reason.
  16. What is is someone else driving your car? Can that can be possible too. I had a speeding ticket which the camera flashed my car right within that time going to 180 Livingston, I just had to pay it and that was that.
  17. Ok I went back and reread I got what he was asking. And yes you told him to tell the truth. Yes you must tell the truth. And when it comes to those questions they’re making you sign papers numerous times about violation tickets and convictions. So if we tell a lie they will terminate us. It had happened to someone that started with a friend I know.
  18. Just be prepared. When they call you for medical it means you’re most likely starting that Sunday thereafter. They’re moving fast.
