It helped a lot thanks for posting. The Arthur Kill lift bridge is a one track only bridge. I wonder how a part-time extension of the SIR into New Jersey would benefit the people of Staten Island and New Jersey.

Does the SIR have a connection with the Arthur Kill lift bridge?

^^That's what I'm talking about^^

I would be very interested in these videos. I grew up riding the Long Island Railroad. I remember riding the Long Island Railroad a lot during the mid to late 80s. Those were the years that I rode it the most.
During what years do these videos take place?

Those are called Hi-railers. But, I've model railroaded before for many years, re-railers are usually hard. To be honest I've never seen a re-railer on a real life railroad. The material used in the picture I posted looks like a soft rubber or plastic material.

Here are two videos of SIR next to Clifton Station.
Enjoy!

I was at Staten Island at my cousins house who lives around the corner from the SIR. So I went on a photo tour of the SIR. I have not been on SIR property in a long time. The system does have a railroad feel to it. Enjoy!

I took this shot from the Staten Island Railway, maybe other railroads use this, but what is this on the tracks?
My only guess is this is where they clean/removed/change trucks on some of their railroad cars.

It's a start. That's all that matters!

Looking great so far. Maybe I can help out the logo and transparencies.

I definitely want to see the Amtrak Cab Ride Night Train To Manhattan. That looks like a great video to watch. I think I might order that one for myself.

Those screens look awesome! I definitely looking forward to that.

Yes it does say its Vista compatible. The thing is a lot of people already have trouble running it under XP. I could imagine how bad it could be under Vista, with Vista using up all the RAM that people say it does.

If I reinstall 06 I'll give it a run.

How do you guys get this program? Do you have to download it or buy a CD.
If you haven't already, go to http://www.trainzclassics.com Dre.

So what do you think about it?

Can you send me that texture file?

Nice try. Keeping playing around with it and you'll get it.

The whole program works great except for Surveyor. I'm having serious issues with Surveyor.

Playing around with the Bombadier M7 consist. Maybe I'll try and reskin this to a Long Island Railroad paint scheme.

You wouldn't mind?! That would be great just you can't distrubte it...
Send me the skin texture file so I can take a look at it.

I wouldn't mind reskinning that into a NJT.

Definitely the first.

So far no it wasn't worth it. Seems like an incomplete game to me. The Driver module runs excellent at max settings. I'm having trouble running Surveyor in all settings. I'll post more in a few days.

Yeah believe me I know it's an outrageous idea but just a thought.
