I went upstate to Saratoga Springs New York for the weekend with my lady on a mini vacation to get away from the city. It was really nice up there with tons of history. I managed to get some quick shots of their Capital District Transportation Authority buses. They were pretty clean and in great condition. Enjoy!

I can see where you guys are coming from but if being PC'ness was the way then it would be different.

If the girl likes you it doesn't matter what you're into. They'll turn away when you start creeping them out.

I have Trainz 2004?, I used the standard 'North American' layout, and edited alot of it to create the Brighton Line 4 Track ROW. However, every time , I try and use my trainz sim game, the 'caching' takes forever, and by the time I actually get trains rolling on the lines ( 12 trains ) im about 35 minutes into the game already. Should i delete this series, and download a new one? I would love to operate the trains within the game, but its soo slowww.. Any help would be appreciated:D..
By the Way, I need to have these subway cars pictured in the previous posts. No Questions asked, lol. Outstanding Job!
It definitely sounds like you need a serious upgrade.
Post your PC specs.

Since "railroad" is one word, I say it should remain as SIR.
For that matter, Metro-North should be labeled MNR, and Long Island Railroad as LIR.
The MTA spells them:
Metro-North Railroad - MNR
Long Island Rail Road - LIRR
When I created the forum home icons I was thinking of spelling it Long Island Rail Road but decided to go with Railroad because it easier.

It has the name "subway" because it was born underground in 1904. That's where the name came from and has stood as the name until now. The IRT subway was the first subway. By the time they unified the system the whole entire system became known as the subway.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Are all R44's FRA certified, or just the ones on SI? I would keep the R40 and R40 slants on the W to give some 68's to SIR. I'd even give the Franklin 68's to SIR, and use 32's on the .
Just the R44's that run on the SIR were modified according to FRA standards to run on the SIR. The NYC Subway R44's are standard subway equipment.

Wow! 330HP, and 2,700 ft-lb low end torque
I'm not used to reading about the power output of a bus.
Yes that is torque for days.

There is not a route like those in BVE, but there is a full system route. It is very basic because of its large scale. The same guy who made it also made one showing most of the second system routes.
Is that person Jeff Morris?

Awesome! NJ Transit lives in Trainz because of you guys!

I'll get bored with just one system. I want them all with all the branches. It'll never get old then.
Variety is always good.

Heres another little gift I bought myself. The March 1990 325 page booklet on how to operate M-4 EMU Cars.
That's sweet right there. Both of you guys operating manuals are sweet.

Nice bunch of maps, I have a few recent ones and some from the ealry 90's. I was always more into the rollsigns and other equipment. If any one has more rollsigns, please post some pictures of them!
What can I say I'm a map freak. I plan on getting some roll signs and other material when I get a chance.
Looking good buddy! Loving that top row lolThank you, it does looks good all bunched up like that.

The MTA must think that every single person living on Staten Island drives which is definitely not the case. My little cousin who uses public transportation in Staten Island is always complaining about it. He can't wait to get a car whenever that may be.

Ok cool. I haven't used Trainz Classics since I bought it. I was disappointed in it.

They are only available on Trainz 2006. There are none available for Trainz Classics as of yet.

how would one submit a possible design concept? To NYCT or Kawasaki? I would think NYCT? does anyone know the exact answer?
I would guess Kawasaki creates a design and the MTA approves it.
Can we see some of your designs?

I think that's Canon's only Point and Shoot camera line with built in Image Stabilizer.
