  1. From what I've experienced, the (7) doesn't have delays too much of the time and I'm a frequent user. But when they do, all shit breaks through. The delays from line crowding build up because so many people rely on it. Most of the time they will do reroutes randomly, like terminate the train here and go back the other direction. Multiple fights have gone on when the trains are delayed cause everybody is pushing to get on and that creates more chaos than there already is.

Lately the (L) has been pretty good too.havent seen too many advisories at all.

  2. Due to a train with mechanical problems at W 4 St-Washington Sq, the following service changes are in effect:

Some southbound F trains are running on the E line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to W 4 St-Washington Sq.

Some southbound F trains are running on the E line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to Court Square then via the G line from Court Square to Bergen St.

Expect delays on southbound E, F, G trains.

    Allow additional travel time.

Wasn't there a train with mechanical problems there this morning too? I think this is a train that had its emergency brakes activated to to signal problems.thats my guess. Also the (M) is not affected ?

UPDATE: it's now a rail condition;I guess the train didn't really have mechanical problems.

  3. I took the (J) to Broad Street yesterday. My group missed the first one, but the second one came in soon after. The thing was, after Fulton Street, the train was held in the tunnel to clear out the (J) up ahead. I predict lots more trouble if Broad Street were both a terminal and through station since it has only 2 tracks.

Bowling green is like that too and church ave and Utica ave southbound after 10 pm.all those are through stations and terminals. Very annoying sometimes.

  4. Does anyone know why bustime isn't able to track a route or two? I can't track the B15 or B83 which is weird...

Update; After checking the other routes in the city it seems only ENY routes are affected by this no schedule at this time BS that's going on. My only question at this point is are they testing or updating something at ENY to cause it's routes to be untrackable?

    Correct only ENY is affected

  5. Something weird happened today.I took the (2) from Sterling to Flatbush.Normal until right before Flatbush. We wait for 2 trains to leave the station but after the 2nd one left we still did not move.I got very worried about potential switch problems.we move about 5 minutes later.I asked the T/O what happened and he claims Flatbush Dispatch didn't know we were waiting to get in.

  6.

Due to switch problems at Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer, the following service changes are in effect:

    (E) trains are running on the (F) line from Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike to Jamaica-179 St in both directions.

As an alternative, At Parsons Blvd (F) station, take Jamaica-LIRR station bound Q25, Q34 or Q65 buses for Jamaica Center and Sutphin Blvd-JFK stations.

    Expect delays in both directions.

    Allow additional travel time.

Is there enough capacity at 179 to turn all (E) and (F) trains there?

  7. Wow,today there were many Problems. The (L) was, shut down from 8th to Myrlte.Queens Blvd was shut down for an hour this morning. And then the Bergen street signal failure.Plus some rail conditions. That was really crazy.Im sure some (A),s went to the junction.why couldn't they as you said. This was a day though I'm sure the MTA will never want to repeat.

  8. Becuase many times they are running early when they get to Utica. It was happening a lot Becuase Rockaway and Van Siclen were closed. But they reopened so maybe it will happen less.Look at the schedule if the train is 2 min or more early they hold.
