  1. That was just my rant today since I was on the B41 -- shit was a headache. If they could make the whole "No Standing" restriction from 7AM - 7PM on Flatbush Avenue to make it a straight through-fare, then we can see some movement.
  2. Driving down Flatbush Avenue is a pain in my ass. #endrant
  3. Either a nice, soft hearted guy, or the BO was running hot. The latter would be me! lmao
  4. Update on recent transfers from Fresh Pond to FLA - 9595, 9598 & 9599 have been in the maintenance bay since last week, thus not being in service. Should be out and about by Friday afternoon (if not, sooner).
  5. Who cares; get rid of the 1996 RTS' as soon as possible. I had two of them last night on the B44 and it pissed me off. 9080 (today) & 9082 are possibly the best two I could've driven from that class.
  6. 9598 & 9599 in at Flatbush from Fresh Pond - in maintenance bay today being registered, still with FP decals.
  7. Thanks. That was a real case on Tuesday afternoon running the B46LTD.
  8. Yeah, confirmed. I saw the crew dispatcher giving directions to an operator for LGA depot yesterday, so this was a little over 24 hours ago.
  9. I'll miss 8860 - bus was a beast, at least when I drive it.
  10. 9605-9608 are at Flatbush from Queens Village, currently in the maintenance area being registered with FLA. Doesn't sound like a move/transfer to me...
  11. Only way that's supposed to happen is if your encoded transfer expired (duration is 2 hours & 18 minutes) during the time you were on whatever bus initially then hopped onto the N6/N32, then it deducts another fare off.
  12. So where's your thread in the Photos Section? I wanna see!
  13. Don't worry, it had nothing to do with you. Whatever you see us writing, it's more than likely the trip sheet or OVCR card (aka defect card). We don't manually log any fare-beats; that's what the farebox and F5 function is used for.
  14. I think that's the rule, but not sure how express operators are told to handle those situations, ya know. I usually will ask you to wipe the magnetic strip and try again, and if it's still unreadable, I let you pass through and just hit F5 - technically it is a 'farebeat'. There's some folks who's cards are damaged and they know we'll (most of us at least) let them on after those two tries.
  15. He was a prick because your card didn't work and asked you to use another one? Really?
  16. Hybrids ain't going no where. More than likely the older 96 RTS' will be displaced to MTA Bus or scrapped, then with a few of those 9600s being moved elsewhere. The 5000s aren't going anywhere since they have the shields installed, and needed for our routes.
  17. 9389 also delivered from UP to FLA -- in service on the B46 tonight.
  18. Is there a reason you guys keep posting "non-moves", basically random stuff in the regional "moves" thread? I don't get it... Especially when there's an random thoughts page already available..
  19. 9383 is also here at Flatbush from UP -- in service today on the B41.
