    Why would you ask that? That's a safety concern. You think I'm gonna stop short, for fun, and risk having someone get hurt just so they can pull me out of service for 3 days (or more) to do a fitness code and investigate the issue? Nah my man... You can have that shit.

    On the B44, the right turn you make from Nostrand Ave to Farragut Road going Willy B. bound, now that turn is sweet, but if you have a standing load, you need to take it slow or you will have an onboard. Otherwise, that's a real dip with the NGs.

    9594 was the only one I've driven from the 9500 series, and it left a disgusting taste in my mouth after I pulled that shit in.

    That shit was funny when I was with you guys on 856!! But it wasn't worse than 5173 though. I should've wrote it up on the OVCR card, but was too eager to get the hell out of the bus after pulling in. Call me whatever, but I try to see what these buses can do! 9082 just happened to be another victim of mine.

    Yep. I've had 9080, 81 & 82 -- all 3 have got to be the best out of the '96 series I've driven. 9082 overheated on me a couple of months ago on the B44 cause I ran pushing that shit too hard. lmao! Check engine light, and a bunch of other shit came up on the telltale panel. I got it down to the Willy B, let it rest for 5-6 minutes and she was moving hard again.

    Punching it still didn't do much. I sat there with a depressed look on my face because it was the reason I was running behind. No, and I make sure I don't get it. I got an Ex-UP bus today, #9396 - that bus runs like a mothafucca.

    Just when I thought 9594 was the worse, here comes 5173 I had yesterday afternoon. That bus has no take off power whatsoever. That shit gave me a headache the way it "tried" moving...

    You call your depot for tomorrow's assignment and continue line training until your graduation day when you'll be going back to Zerega to hang out with the rest of your classmates with a few more talks from Superintendents, then mostly chillin. Once you graduate, the next day you're on your own. Your graduation day should be on a Wednesday, and that Thursday should be your first day alone.

    5077 is at Ulmer Park. I saw it myself on Avenue J on the B6LTD this morning. ... unless it was moved upon pulling into UP after it's run. I'll see if it's around maintenance area when I go in later.

    Good point. Let me ask this: wouldn't it be convenient to implement a 'free' transfer between the B48 and the Shuttle to compensate for the cutback?

    Thought it'd be nice to have the B48 go directly to Prospect Park once more, but MTA saw that as a reduction so they can have folks use the Franklin Avenue Shuttle instead which is parallel to Franklin Avenue and terminates at Prospect Park.

    It's funny you mention this because I thought the same thing the last few times I went to Manhattan. Areas such as Columbus Circle & Time Square should be cleaner -- overflowing garbage bins, and just unsanitary spots along with homeless people laying everywhere.

    I spoke with another op a few days ago regarding a possible B68 rush hour LIMITED service, and he mentioned the MTA was looking to implement it with the sign codes uploaded into buses, but never went through with it. Any insight? I bring this up now because I've noticed the amount of day traffic on Coney Island Avenue, and with the normal bus bunching, LIMITED might help speed buses up along the Avenue.

    Many of the 5000s are that way (at least at Flatbush), where you'll hear the tires rubbing against the suspension, and that pisses me off royally. I have an internal sad face when the yard dispatcher gives me a 5000 sometimes... I swear, unless it's 5135 & a few other select ones that don't have the partition and run their ass off, then it's a smiley face. B)
