VV I don't remember seeing this last year... lol

I always thought that the R160s are more overused, which might have lead to mileage problems.

This is the reason why those people objected the Bx8 entering their precious territory. They don't want any frequent bus service at all.Extend the Bx4 service along with the Bx24 to/from Country Club.1 -

The point I'm trying to make is if the TA wants the to stop at Yankee Stadium, they might as well force all 's to run local in the Bronx and not "bypass" 155 St and 167 St. Didn't the and run local in 2004 when the Concourse express tracks were being repaired? But this is as if someone said, "I can't believe it, the makes one more stop in manhattan than it used to; from now on I'm taking the . (Just a hypothetical scenario.)0 -
I can forgive that since there's no Jerome Av express during the rush hours. Plus, the is another option I have, and the ride today was really fast than the from last week.I assume that you're aware that the is fully local in the Bronx, right?0 -
I don't ride the in the afternoon anymore b/c all of them stop at Yankee Stadium... I prefer to deal with the crowd at Lexington than riding a faux express service.

I still remember that 81 I scored on the Global regents 4 years ago. I found it more interesting than US history, which I scored a 65.A 93 on global eh? Good job! When I took that exam a few years back, I got a 83. History is my favorite subject as well.I have to say this, despite my "so-called" English grammar being horrid, I scored an 85 on the English regents. I didn't do well for all English classes, yet I found it shocking that I'd score an 85...

Why is it that T2 is so much better than T1 and T3?

So I took the Concourse Express to Norwood, and it turns out that all trains were stopping at 161 St... Why does the have to stop there when the trains are supposed to stop at all the local stops on the Concourse corridor? Really pointless. I'm lucky that this nonsense doesn't happen in the morning, but if it happens, I'll take the instead.

This is a tutorial on how you should request your sign, to make everyone's lives easier and simple. It is not my obligation to assume how you want your sign to look like. Unless you don't mind me choosing for you and not correcting it afterwards, then you must specify how you want your sign to look like.
I don't care if your requests include fictional routes, former *existing* routes ( ), rerouted routes, planned routes ( ), etc. as long as it's not beyond foam ( to Coney Island). I accept to Coney Island, via Culver, to Jamaica Center because it's possible in real life (it just won't happen, however). Please take a look here to see what signs are available for requests.
Choosing the type of sign
Let's start with the LCD sign first. The bullets are just personal additions, but you can request the small LCD with no bullets if it merits you. Two color variants exist (original and gray), so you have variety. What's even better is that double letters/numbers are only possible for this exterior sign only!
Perhaps you don't like the outdated LCD signs... there's the mosaic and commuter LCDs. They look similar, but the letter designs are different! And no dots are used at all.
Maybe they don't appeal to you... but there's always the NTT LEDs and there are 4 variants! If you want to stick with realism, then request the original. If you like large sign readings, then the extended sign is for you. If you like bus signs so much, then you can request the modified LEDs, designed to look like flipdot and horizon signs (only luminator fonts will be used).
What about the interior signs? The int. LCD has two color variants (obvious). There are 2 int. LED signs: R142/A and R143/160. (obvious, and the letters are different) As an added bonus, double letters/numbers are possible for all interior signs!
I chose the sign type. Now what?
You decide the sign reading.
Exterior
Central Park West/6 Ave Express
4 Ave Express/West End Local
To Coney Island - Stillwell Ave/Bklyn
Depending on the type of sign you choose, I might shorten the reading or split the readings in 2 different frames.
EX: Washington Hts
W. 168 St
You can choose Express/Local over EXP/LCL and vice versa. "Via/To", "ST/ND/RD/TH", and "BX/MANHTN/QNS/BKLYN" are personal aditions, so if you want them or not, just say it.
Interior
This is
Brooklyn Bridge
To New Lots Ave
The next stop is
Wall St
11:54 A.M. Jul 14, 2010
Same as above, long readings will be condensed or split in half. "Jul 14, 2010" is another addition, so you can pick the time, date, or both. Please limit the amount of frames to 8 as it's tedious to produce more than 8. Also, multi-colored signs are optional, so if you want to stick with the original colors as seen in real life, then that's not a problem.
I might edit later, but that's all for now. Questions, ask.

Don't give me that crap.OHHH whatever!!...
This is why I personally believe that both of you are brothers, if not, half brothers. Both of you are criticizing each other with the power of words.Good comeback.6 -
I'm feeling a little bit mixed about iO now. The new Samsung HD digital box is a hell lot better than I thought. The HD channels are sharp-looking (little pixelation, but better than the Scientific HD box) and is on par with the HD DVR. Two issues; it freezes too much if i use the menu/options and it takes forever to change a channel.
Also, all of a sudden, they started offering 3 new packages (just found out about it recently... lol): iO Economy, iO Value, and iO Preferred, while altering the iO Gold and Silver packages. My mom will downgrade to Economy b/c I don't give a hoot about most of the channels at all. That's a $20-25 difference, and it's worth it.

Until next time.

I still have tomorrow and Sunday... I don't count Fridays as a weekend, so there's your answer.See what you're created...?? Ahem...0 -
Introducing...
R142S Commuter LCD:
What do you think?

All requests accepted. I'll be sure to produce more signs this weekend, so stay tuned.

I noticed that Cinemax's standard definition channels (except for Action and MoreMax) are airing movies in widescreen. I find that change odd, considering that the HD feeds exist for a reason...

The purpose of this thread has declined overtime, so now it's time for me to spice it up, as part of a massive revamp. Introducing...
R44/R46 LCD (Original and gray)
R44/R46 Small LCD (Same as above)
R110B Interior LCD (Same as above)
R142A Mosaic LCD
R142/A & R143/R160 Interior LEDs
R143/R160 LEDs (Original, extended, flipdot, and horizon)
Coming soon:
R142 Mosaic LCD (There are vast differences; it's more bigger from top to bottom, and the mosaic design isn't the same as the R142)
R142S Mosaic LCD (Fictional, based on the Commuter font)
Just a general note, double letters/numbers are NOT possible for R142A LCD and R143/160 LED signs, so don't bother requesting one. As for the new flipdot and horizon LED's, it was a last minute introduction (well, sort of). Requests are open, but only ONE.

Just a small preview of what's expected in the near future.

It's the same shyt for Time Warner Cable as well."Five times faster than Verizon's High Speed 3MBps internet."Dumbasses at CV: Basic FiOS is 25/25. 25 MPBs is over 8 times as fast as what I can get... on a good day. The Optimum app is unstable and crashes half the time, the "original" channels suck, and Madison Square Garden's teams suck.
If I ever have to be around to watch them remove the boxes from my home, I'll just tell them "my parents can't afford it anymore."
The only pro I can think of for Optimum is their "exclusive" offers. All you have to do is spook them and they'll convince you to stay with their shytty service. The exclusive 2-year deal that my mom accepted expires this October, and instead of paying the regular price, $25 more is discounted from the monthly bill which is really neat imo.
Their commercials are awful to be honest... paid actors "claiming" that they're "in love" with Cablevision's "high quality" services... smh.

Dude, you requested 6 signs in the other thread (and i don't know why you need that many). Please, start being patient and wait until I produce your requested signs. Other than having a life outside of this forum, there are other threads with backlogged requests, which I can rectify in due time. Now you're in this thread...

Bronx Division Bus Proposals/Ideas
in New York City Bus
Posted
Well, now that I have a little bit of free time...
Schurz Av in both directions. Bx42LTD buses will follow the Bx40LCL making limited stops bewtween River Park Towers and Schurz Av. Bx42 service along Dewey, Balcom, and Randall Avs discontinued and replaced with exteded Bx31. I disagree. The Bx40 runs all times, and it deserves LTD service than the Bx42 since it bypasses the Throgs Neck houses. As the MTA stated at one point, if they couldn't extend the Bx31 to Parkchester via Metropolitan, then the Bx31 extension to Throgs Neck is less likely to happen.
Willamsbridge-E Gun Hill/White Plains Roads and The Hub-E 149th St. Bx39 buses will continue to serve Wakefield at all times except late nights. Too bad the TA couldn't think of this ... midday LTD service isn't needed since buses are sometimes empty.
