S78 via Hylan

The got 80 sets of R142As from the so that there can be extra cars for when the the lines R142As get converted now they are starting to get transfered back since the isn't needing it cause its getting all of its R62As back.

When exactly did this happen?

4278 is at Yukon. Spotted it on the S62 earlier.

Yeah I agree. But you know the . I hope the R179 contract gets awarded this month, and the R46's get retired and SIR gets some R179's. Because the R46's only have a few more years till their scheduled lifetime is up, so why waste the money to retrofit them. :confused:

The R46's will not be replaced by the R179's. Those will later be replaced by something different. As for why some of the R46's will be sent to SI, they could use up the little amount of life they had just as they have done with the R44's by giving them SMS.

Yeah, they seem to be running a lot of Xcelsiors on the S53.

 

I happen to find the Xcelsiors most of the time on the S48, S51 and S76 as well as the S53.

but something tells me that the rest of the YUK NG Fleet will shift over to FP, while some 95xx FP buses shift over to FB/GA. Has CAS received their allotment of buses?

I believe so. CAS still has above < 5 XD40's before all 90 of their buses for the BTE are complete. And yeah, it does like like FP is recieving YUK's NG's which means the rest of CAS' NG's might go to YUK.

2108 currently sits at the defect line at Charleston. That bus has not seen service for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time.

 

Also forgot to mention, 6274 spotted on the S79 today.

I just tracked 6274 on the S52 using Bustime.

4009 is at Yukon. Spotted it on the S44 and has Yukon decals.

7089 is at Castleton. Tracked it on S46 the using Bustime.

Hey, he made it up by riding an Orion 5 on the S79 to Brooklyn!

4245 is at Yukon. Spotted it on the S62 earlier and has Yukon stickers.

4012 is at Yukon. Spotted on the S79 this morning in Bay Ridge.

Pretty much safe to say that Yukon's NG's are heading to Fresh Pond along with some CAS NG's.

Yeah, it looks that way now.

4013-4014, 4016, 4018 and 4247 are all at Yukon.

I can see FastTrack for:

-The Concourse line weeknight FastTrack.

-The Jerome Ave line with an all weekend FastTrack or just weekend Daytime Fast Track.

-Maybe Upper West Side, CPW Broadway lines

- Brighton, Nostrand, Culver Lines (possibly)

Most of the Brighton Line underwent a huge rehabilitation for 3 years, so I doubt that line will need FASTRACK if the maybe even considers doing the program in Brooklyn.

4264 is now at Yukon. Found it on the S79.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 5355-5374 made their way back to 126th.

4250 is at Yukon. Rode it on the S61 and has Yukon stickers. Looks like 4245-4278 might be going to Yukon after all.

Also, forgot to add, 4247 is at Yukon as well. Spotted on the S89.
