So far, I feel like the only one who feels the transit fares should be lowered AND restructured across the board and that the fare-beating law should be greatly reduced, completely revamped so it doesn't penalize the working class and poor, or abolished.

I am all for fairness and helping those in need, but there's a fine line into what's considered helping and what's considered pampering.
Back then, when you said you were poor, you were poor. I remember growing up with my parents bringing in what they could after working long hours in order to support everyone in the household. Didn't have much, but we all managed to make it. Nowadays, I see a lot of mofos on the street with the "cool" or "trending"...
