RTS CNG Command

So far, I feel like the only one who feels the transit fares should be lowered AND restructured across the board and that the fare-beating law should be greatly reduced, completely revamped so it doesn't penalize the working class and poor, or abolished.

  People tend to make excuses for fare beating. I know because I've seen a few NICE bus drivers hold the bus until the person pays their fare.

  @all: Not reduced enough. The $100 fine and charge itself greatly impacts people of color, where income's much tighter. If anything, I'd call this law discriminatory.

  @RTS There are other options. You can walk, bike or get another job to pay the fare if need be. What you're stating is a convenient excuse. Most of these people have expensive sneakers and phones but they can't afford $2.75? BS.
