Saw an Orion V from CS the other day coming off the Q88 with the sign displaying "X17A". Before I could even get my camera out he drove off. Looks like we have another codebreaker!

Around 5 PM today, Manhattan-bound trains were wrong railing from Hunterspoint to Grand Central, apparently there was a train in emergency brake at Vernon-Jackson. Not sure how the Queens-bound (7)s ran. I was actually on a , and I didn't see anything when we went through Vernon-Jackson, but it took me about an hour to get from 46th Street (where I got on) to Times Square, as the train kept getting stopped every few hundred feet or so after Queensboro Plaza for 5-10 minutes at a time.
Wait... what time were you at 46 St?
on a side note, I can see Jct Bl sta from my window, and the same train was sitting there for about 2 hours. I guess the backup was really bad!

Hows about the does the same thing the does in Southern Queens and splits into 2 different terminals? I heard the was supposed to double service anyway, so I think that would be a good idea.
though since its the (and its been said a thousand times already), the best to do is to wait and see. You never know, the might be dumb and eliminate service to Astoria alltogether, or they could do something crazy such as put a 6 Av line up 2 Av. Who knows, just see what hapens.

From what I heard the will travel along 2 Av first, and this might revive the since Astoria can't handle just one line going thru there (unless they have more train service).

not really a move, but 187 for some reason is decaled as NYCT bus in the back but is at CP (sides has MTA bus). I would have gotten a pic but I was stoo danjm lazy to get my camera out (still mad at myself )

Okay... so QV isn't getting loans again. Saw RTS with WF decals on Q88, I forgot the number (its definelty one of CS's RTS).
If only my video camera would turn on faster...

So now there are 2 single sets running around on the . Last time I saw one of them included 2153-2154-2155-2156-2157 as the last 5 cars (south end), but I don't think they are a coupled set because there is no cab on each end.
I would check out the R188's today if it weren't for the crappy slushy weather. I bet it would be in the barn anyways.

yesterday while going to an unplanned NJ light rail trip I got on a local R160 at Woodhaven. Even though it went local to Queens Plaza, that T/O was going at express speeds between stations (It makes me wonder how fast he went into 63 Dr even though I wasn't on it.

I bet the only changes with the new R188 (the new C cars, 79xx's) will be the signs and maybe the doors. The signs will probably be like the R160's, and the Doors will most likely have different motors.

We DON'T need a Q21 LTD, what we need is a Q60 LTD!!!
If those people in arverne want limited service, let them take the Q22 to Cross Bay Blvd and get a free transfer to the Q53. It seems like now the is fixing things that ain't broke.

What happened to the Q38? All the drivers I used to know are now gone, and it didn't go to LGA...
It looks like QV is now mosltly out with the old and in with the new... All I see on the Q88 now are Xcelsiors & a few LFS (and if i'm lucky i'll see a 3G here and there)
