My R211 fleet list has 4235-4289 as “supposedly built” and 4290-4309 as “being built” until we have photos

If only y'all could see the backlog of body shells at Kobe

You need equal trains to make service, not one less. There are WAAAAAAAAAY 2 many errors to make it real. This is an April Fools lame joke. Cause, right now, you need to go to Ohio and tell them you made a BIIIIIGGGGGG mistake

And I thought my sense of humor was bleak....

Well, the R211S pilot revenue service is now late indefinitely. So much for a March testing date.

There was nothing that officially confirmed it's debut service date from the jump. Just some "fans" that got carried away and faulty news sources label it as an "expectation"..... Not gonna lie, they haven't trained the all the operators and maintenance on the trains completely so it would be late.

OK great so that means it is "slowly" rolling out.  Let's see if it is completed by the end of 2024 which I doubt.  I think 2025 is more likely to finished deploying OMNY machines.

Most of us in the real world don't care how long it takes as long as they're making progress in some form. They can do it for the rest of the decade for all we know......

  5. Anyways, the current consists are as follows:

4060-4069 (rotated after its anniversary before reconnecting again; pilot consecutive consist)

    4070-74 + 4125-29

4075-79 + 4110-14 (NIS as of this week, last seen 6 days ago)

4090-99 (consecutive consist first time after 9 months)

    4100-04 + 4130-34

    4105-09 + 4190-94

4115-19 (last seen 3 days ago with 4135-39)

4120-24 (NIS; last seen on the 7th with 4110-14 but was rotated)

4140-44 + 4160-64 (rotated after the pilot anniversary and reconnected)

    4145-49 + 4165-69 (never separated)

4150-59 standing by for CBTC testing at JAM

    4170-79 (consecutive consist; never separated)

4180-89 standby for pre-service evaluations; software updates at PIT.

    4195-99 + 4135-39 (current consist as of 3/27)

4200-09 the newest standby with the 4080 and 4180 consists

    4210-14 at CIY

The consist for R211T never separated and the SIR units are still awaiting acceptance and the pilot run on hold.

R211S 105-109 and 110-114 (production sets) are at Kawasaki Plant in Yonkers with one of them waiting for the pilot set to be accepted into service.

They've been there for a couple months now.....

Look at Metro CSW's post and then my post above that. I pointed that out yesterday. As he said, it was only to see if the pilots can go with production cars.

Plus, that video was three days ago via Discord then uploaded on YouTube afterwards. Sure its prove of the movements on said day, however that doesn't stop the video from being pointless, even in the little scheme of things.... it's only evidences of my tracking..... If anybody is paying an attention to the rails, you'll notice that the 4180-set is still on burn-in test as I type this. Give a couple days for service.

4185-89 is with 4060-64 as of today

Incorrect: 4180-89 are linked for burn-in as of today. That was only linked to rotate around Pitkin earlier this week and test the pilots' link with other sets. The pilots are still separated in different lanes of the yard along with 4080-84.
