If I'm not mistaken, today, the 10th marks 1-year to when the R211s debuted in passenger service. Also, on the outside is daylight savings.

Ooooooh, and the pilot is finally separated after a year!

  2. 4135-39 are coupled with 4140-44. I told you there'd be some switch ups.

4185-89 were testing at Broad Channel.

    4080-89, 4105-09, 4160-64 & 4180-84 on stand-by.

4150-59 continue burn-ins, expected to start by next week. We'll see.....

All else are active on the rails.

Nice. I wasn't expecting this. That would be the 13th train in service (that's including the 4080s). But I've seen nothing with 4140-44 and 4160-64 tbh. I'm worrying that set might be a false report.

Can someone post photos to make sure 4140 and 4160 being in service isn't false?

Believe what you want, that set has been in service since the 27th from 3 pm.

What is even more infuriating is that if God forbid something bad happens to these stupid teens, their parents will have the audacity to sue the MTA when in reality it's the parents fault for being irresponsible.

What are these parents doing, while their teens are subway surfing?

I just wish all r211's have the same components that prevent subway surfing.

It's really wouldn't see them from climbing the back of the train......

  5. The Judge: "So you're case is that you want to MTA to remove the gangway components so you can kill yourself? Go back to school, kid. Case closed."

I wish these stupid teenagers had that type of audacity lol.

Well, sorry. I don't live here y'know. I only get info from these forums.

Your best bet would be to let others (those who live in the city; yours truly) give their confirmation before making assumptions or speculations. Obviously, changes (with consists) can happen at anytime.
