There is no train service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Sq-42 St because of a work train with mechanical problems at Vernon Blvd/Jackson Av. 

For alternative service, please take , , , , or  trains.

LIRR is accommodating NYCT passengers at no additional charge at the following stations: 34 St-Penn Station, 61 St-Woodside, Forest Hills-71 Av, Kew Gardens-Union Tpke, and Sutphin Blvd-JFK.

Well in the AM it gets pretty good usage (at least from the West Side), usually there'll be a line of people at 10th Av and there will be a few people standing by 8th.

In the PM there's not as many people, and I'm pretty sure some people even use it as an alternative to the NY Waterway buses. They started shutting down Rockefeller Center every evening during December, so ridership probably tanks from that as well.

Though it probably used to get more usage because back when the M27 existed there used to be 3-4 min headway combined going east, but now they only run every 15 mins max (12 mins for west).

There are service changes in  and train service because of a train with mechanical problems at 75 Av. 

There is no northbound and  train service between Forest Hills-71 Av and Jamaica Center/Jamaica-179 St. 

Some northbound are ending at 21 St-Queensbridge. 

Some northbound trains are running along the line from Lexington Av-63 St to 96 St.  

Some northbound trains are running along the line from 42 St-Port Authority/Bus Terminal to 145 St.  

Please see a station agent to for a courtesy pass for service on another train or bus.

As an alternative, customers can take the Q43, Q44 and Q60 buses and the  train for service between Manhattan and Queens.

We are awaiting the arrival of Con Ed personnel on the scene. There is no northbound train service between 145 St and Norwood-205 St. 

Some northbound trains end at 59 St-Columbus Circle or 145 St. 

These service changes are because of an investigation on the tracks at Tremont Av.

Expect delays in both directions.

As an alternative, for service between 145 St and Norwood-205 St, you can take the Bx1 or Bx2  buses making nearby station stops or the  and  train at 149 St-Grand Concourse.

Our crews are on the scene making repairs and we hope to resume normal service as soon as possible.

So there happens to be artics running on the M42 during the snow storm... the crosstown routes always seem to retain them during snow storms, but putting them on routes that normally don't have them? That's new to me.

I've always noticed that on BusTime as well as on the actual destination themselves, the X17 that runs off-peak through Midtown (separate from the X17J) displays "via New Jersey" despite not actually running through New Jersey, but on the Gowanus Expwy & Verrazano Bridge. This seems to only be an issue specifically affecting buses to Staten Island. I wonder how they've managed not to catch and fix that problem.

Some northbound B trains are stopping along the F line from 47-50 St-Rockefeller Ctr to Lexington Av/63 St, then stop along the Q line to 96 St-2 Av, and end.
