Due to a police investigation at the Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street Station:

 

There is no M train service between the Chambers Street Station and the Bay Parkway Station in both directions.

 

Coney Island-bound N is running on the R line from the Canal Street Station to the DeKalb Avenue Station.

 

Coney Island-bound B and D trains are running with delays.

 

Please expect delays in service on the B, D, N, R and M trains at this time.

I had the pleasure of being absorbed into the mess that the incident caused. Supposedly, someone needed medical attention and it wasn't a sick passenger. There were plainclothes cops, detectives and NYC Transit management at the scene. There was even a police photographer at the scene. From what it looked like to me, someone might have gotten stabbed or even shot. There was also NYC Transit personnel checking the tracks in the north tunnel of the express tracks on the southbound side.

Oh so they got the guy. He took out some copper out from the tracks that caused a D train to stall out. So he was the whole reason service was messed up so don't feel sorry for him.

It was very interesting to hear that there were "mechanical" problems when I was at 42nd Street/Times Square before boarding a R160 at 9 PM. I found later on when i chatted with the conductor while going through the Montague Tunnel. This extended my trip by 45 minutes! Oh wells, things happen.
