Livingston Posted September 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2009 Okay if any of you guys could help me that would be great. What would be the fastest route getting from WTC to 68th St.-Hunter College? I'm coming from Bayonne and I'm taking the Light Rail to Exchange, and then Exchange to WTC by PATH but I don't know what would be the quickest subway route after that? (Or would it be faster taking the Light Rail to Hoboken and then PATH from Hoboken to whatever stop in Manhattan?) I was thinking taking the E to W. 4th and then the V to 51st and then the 6 to 68th but im not sure if that is the most convenient? Any help would be great guys, thanks! Walk to Fulton Street and Broadway, take either the or uptown to 59th Street and transfer to the and take it one stop and you're at 68th! Hope this helps. mark1447 Posted September 21, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 21, 2009 Exchange place does not serve any line that goes to 33rd Street. He can take the Hoboken-WTC to Newport for the 33rd St train, unless he doesnt have to get off at Exchange place. I dunno

I dunno That would increase his travel time instead of reducing it.
metsfan Posted September 21, 2009 Share #9 Posted September 21, 2009 HBLR to hoboken, PATH to 33rd. to lex/59th, to 68th hunter college. The station is connected to the 33rd st PATH station under manhattan mall, however it has been months since i went from there to the so i'm not sure of the lexington ave station layout. - A
PATCOman Posted September 22, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 22, 2009 I say take the PATH from Exchange to the at Fulton Street (only 1 block away, plus it is not too deep). Transfer to the at 42 Street.
metsfan Posted September 22, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 22, 2009 I say take the PATH from Exchange to the at Fulton Street (only 1 block away, plus it is not too deep). Transfer to the at 42 Street. PATH to 33rd is faster, it goes ~50 most of the way. I've done it a bunch of times, i avoid the lex like the plague, always takes forever. - A
