R10 2952 Posted October 31, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2009 Lately I've been trying to catch an R-32 on the (, and I haven't been having any luck. It's very frustrating. Could anyone point out some tips or ways to track down this particular train?

LRG Posted October 31, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 31, 2009 It's hard to tell, especially since it's running all day. Your best bet would be to wait in Manhattan, Seventh Avenue at best (by the stairs so you can go upstairs or downstairs). You'll be in the middle and it'll make your life a lot easier. MattTrain Posted October 31, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 31, 2009 The R-32 ( train is very unpredictable. I haven't seen it myself since I rode one three weeks ago.
R10 2952 Posted October 31, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted October 31, 2009 Well what would be the best place to catch it between 2:45 PM and 5:00 PM? That's the only time that every weekday that I can really wait for it.
PATCOman Posted October 31, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 31, 2009 Since island platforms are your best bet, the best thing to do would be to camp out at Atlantic Avenue.
LRG Posted October 31, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 31, 2009 Well what would be the best place to catch it between 2:45 PM and 5:00 PM? That's the only time that every weekday that I can really wait for it. It should be back in service this week, two of the cars were being repaired, from what I heard. Before p.m. rush starts, check the pocket track at 135th Street and see if it's there. If not, head to the Bronx and check the Concourse Yard and see if it's there. If not, it's on the road, that's all I can say.
Grand Concourse Posted October 31, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 31, 2009 Interesting, they actually repaired it than to just scrap it? I guess they need them around a bit longer than I expected
