Bracamonte Posted December 3, 2009 #1 Posted December 3, 2009 How come the RTS 9700's (ex-QSC) don't run on the LGA routes anymore? I remember back in May-August, I've seen tons of them. Now, its mostly ex-NYCTA RTS's. LGA still have plenty of ex-QSC RTS's left.

Bracamonte Posted December 3, 2009 Author #3 Posted December 3, 2009 LGA currently has 7 ex-QSC RTS's.
Grand Concourse Posted December 4, 2009 #4 Posted December 4, 2009 I wonder if any are worth keeping as a reserve fleet?
Novabus 5000 Posted December 4, 2009 #5 Posted December 4, 2009 I wonder if any are worth keeping as a reserve fleet? I highly doubt that they will keep them. One unit is already preserved as a QSC unit though over at CP.
Grand Concourse Posted December 4, 2009 #6 Posted December 4, 2009 Well I don't expect them to save any more for the museum, but the MTA did have a reserve fleet [the older TMCs] when they acquired the PBLs. That's why I'm wondering what buses they should keep for the reserves.
