Infamous85 Posted January 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2010 Has anyone heard those new announcements? I've heard "Welcome to New York City (I forgot the rest)", a clearer version of that choppy radio sounding announcement that says the fair is $2.25, as well as other announcements. They're all in that NG lady's voice. So far I've only heard them on JAM's & CS's NGs.

RokuSix Posted January 9, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 9, 2010 I heard the "Welcome to New York City" announcement on a Gun Hill NG once. I was stunned... I really don't think there's droves of tourists flocking to this area. And plus, if you hear the announcement on the bus, haven't you already paid the fare and whatnot? What's the point of reiterating that?
