lilbluefoxie Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted February 9, 2010 What about Metro-North? Even tho i know a few.. Just curies tho, is there a limit on parking at stations? Im a long Islander, ill leave Metro North up to someone else, as for parking limits, I wouldnt leave a car overnight in any of those lots, park there, go to the city for the day, and come home. Some of the east end stations by the Hamptons did actually have restrictions banning overnight parking. http://lirr42.mta.info/sfweb/faces/stationList.jspx Heres my source for the list. What about those who just want to park and no use the rail, how would any MTA Police worker would know they are violating? If they are..
lilbluefoxie Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 9, 2010 I have no idea, like I said I wouldnt leave a car at those places for days at a time.
Paul P Posted February 9, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 9, 2010 I've noticed particularly at stations closer to New York free parking lots are monitored (especially those who don't ride the train and park there overnight). I would think your car can be towed after leaving it there for overnights over and over.
lilbluefoxie Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted February 9, 2010 I never intended this as a list for people to go abandon cars in, it was just for people who live in areas with bad train service or their local station requires an expensive permit to park somewhere where they can ride in for teh day.
