Anyone affected by Westchester beeline bus cuts to mainly the #12 and BXm4c?

Has anyone been personally impacted by the Beeline bus cuts that took affect on Feb 15, 2010? I know John Q Pine created a recent thread on this topic but now the cuts have started just seeing if anyone been affected.

The biggest cuts was the ending of the Airlink between Westchester County Airport and White Plains, The #12 service north of Armonk. And of course the BXM4c rush hour extended service to/from Wall Street.

Personally i felt that the BXM4c was justified since those riders can transfer to the underused (MTA) Bronx based BXM18 via metrocard transfer. On the other hand i felt Bee Line exces did a terrible job in adding all weekend bus service to/from Westchester Aiport. Not to mention it made no sense to even run the #12 at all on weekend since SUNY Purchase now has their own shutte bus/charter bus provider that takes students and other riders to/from White Plains MNRR station. I won't be shocked by this time next year, Bee Line exces will want to totally end the #12 all together.:mad:

On the #12 northbound service being cut Northbound to/from only Armonk, another bad decision. There was enough ridership to run the #12 at least weekdays between Yorktown Heights or at least Mt Kisco and White Plains. Also which was a shame is that i always saw the #12 use full-size 40-foot buses.

Instead if they had used short 35-foot buses used for instance on the #16 Peekskill-Jefferson Valley Line and the shuttle buses, it could save money and prevent this drastic cut to the #12. Plus the alternative between White plains and Jefferson Valley/Maphoic which is the rush hour only #77 could have run an extra midday northbound trip to make up for ending #12 service.

Finally any reactions, to the above topics or the canning of weekday supplemental "13B" Benedict Ave service on that Port Chester-White Plains-Tarrytown line as all '13's' now run on route 119(Tarrytown Road) as well.

I will be affected by missing seeing it in midtown. :)

Only the Downtown/Wall St Beeline(white plains BXM4c)which only ran during rush hours was cut so don't worry. The regular full time BXM4c between 23rd St/5th Avenue and White Plains is still running.

Plus the BXM4c riders could transfer to the (MTA) bus BXM18 or M1 and M6 via Metrocard as well so i am not angry at Beeline exces at this cut. I am mad at them for the #12 cuts in upper Westchester though:mad:.

BxM4C is one of best express bus in Westchester County.

If BxM4C was cut, with (MTA) taking away BxM4A, BxM4 Woodlawn (formelly BxM4B) will be crowded.

When I was at public hearing, I suggested transfer BxM4C service to (MTA) Bus Co.

Some BxM4C riders would paid higher fare to save BxM4C.

BxM4C need to stay because it is cheap alternative than Metro-North.

With (MTA)'s reduction on Metro-North, BxM4C riders will have long travel time either way.

If BxM4C was cut, MTA should cooperate with WCDOT Bee-Line Bus.

Bee-Line Buses that meeting MTA Express Bus in Yonkers/Bronx will get free transfer to express bus at no additional charge by using MetroCard.

Yuki the BXM4c is the only Manhattan 'express' route in the Bee Line system LOL. The other 'express' routes charge local fares.
