I don't so, Shortline Bus. While part of the reason is signal work to modernize the signals, the other part is East 180th Street station will be rehabilitated beginning March 27th. According to Railway Track And Structures, East 180th Street is receiving: *Complete replacement of the canopy roof *Complete replacement of the platforms and platform edge safety tiles *Complete replacement of the track beds *Other station amenities I suspect switches and tracks needing to be out of service for periods of time is the main reason.
