error46146 Posted March 21, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 21, 2010 I just want to know; how many people know and care about the BVE train simulator and the work that is being done for it in regard to the NYC subways. Do any real train operators know about it? If so what do you think about it ?
Paul P Posted March 21, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 21, 2010 I just want to know; how many people know and care about the BVE train simulator and the work that is being done for it in regard to the NYC subways. Do any real train operators know about it? If so what do you think about it ? I think BVE within railbuffs is fairly popular. The content isn't very popular, though... captain82 Posted March 21, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 21, 2010 its nice and fun to play with and doent take up lots of HD space like all the other sims out there but with BVE 4 like I have its very limited. I still don't know how to set up open BVE though.
R32 3348 Posted March 21, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 21, 2010 I think it's a great sim but the whole installation/setup process can be made a lot easier IMO. I know quite a few people who originally had problems trying to find everything they needed to run the route, finding the place with all the directions they needed to install the software, not knowing what to do once they installed everything, using OpenBVE, etc. I haven't used the sim in years so IDK if these issues have been addressed but I think the software itself is great.
