Ax, buyouts loom for nearly 700 of MTA's white collar workforce at headquarters...

It's the system, it's the voters, and the politicians that are all to blame. The politicians are in there because of the voters, and the system is a mess because of the politicians. It's one big cycle that you seem to not understand. This country sold its soul a long time ago, now we all are paying for previous gerations' greed.

Add the bankster crooks and the very wealthy who use their corrupt lobbyist organizations (and the lobbyists themselves) to advance their own agendas and influence the policy made by those politicians. Add the ambulance chaser lawyers and the schister insurance salesmen who profit off everything and drive all prices up with their frivolity, and I'll sign off on that.

Holy crap. I never thought I'd see the day that you agree with me on something or think I wrote something that you approved of.

I try to remain objective rather than subjective and I was taught to learn from principles and not personalities. I don't necessarily have to appreciate someone to appreciate a legitimate argument, and you've made quite a few as of late.

Written 40 years ago by John Lennon. It still applies today. Roger Taylor did a good version of it from his 1998 Electric Fire album. People need to fight the ones in control, or we deserve the sh*t on a stick we get that we're told is rich chocolate. Call it what you want, it's still sh*t.

As soon as you're born they make you feel small

By giving you no time instead of it all

Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all

A working class hero is something to be

A working class hero is something to be

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school

They hate you if your clever and they despise a fool

Till you're so f*cking crazy you can't follow their rules

A working class hero is something to be

A working class hero is something to be

When they've tortured and scared you for 20-odd years

Then they expect you to pick a career

When you can't really function you're so full of fear

A working class hero is something to be

A working class hero is something to be

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV

And you think you're so clever and classless and free

But you're still f*cking peasants as far as I can see

A working class hero is something to be

A working class hero is something to be

There's room at the top they are telling you still

But first you must learn how to smile as you kill

If you want to be like the folks on the hill

A working class hero is something to be

If you want to be a hero just follow me

If you want to be a hero well just follow me
