Shotguns among most popular weapons for criminals in New York City

Shotguns are no longer just for farmers.

 

For the first time in seven years, shotguns are among the most popular weapons of criminals in New York City.

 

Federal data show that 394 shotguns were seized from thugs in the city last year - making the weapon the fourth most popular gun among criminals.

With gun laws as strict as they are in New York, it wouldn't surprise me if the knife is the most common murder weapon here (rather than the gun).

Don't you need a permit to purchase steak knives and have to have it notarized you plan to solely use it for cutting food meats? This might be a loophole for the Jeffery Dahmers' out there though..........

You know, it's not that far from the truth - I never thought trans fats would be banned, but now they are, thanks to Bloomberg. If we see a ban on knives, it won't be that surprising.
