NX Express Posted June 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2010 Due to a police investigation at the Fulton Street Station: Downtown trains are running on the line from the Chambers Street Station to the South Ferry Station. Please expect delays in downtown and trains at this time. What about the ?
GojiMet86 Posted June 7, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 7, 2010 If not South Ferry, then maybe 14 Street or Times Square?
NX Express Posted June 7, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted June 7, 2010 If not South Ferry, then maybe 14 Street or Times Square? TSQ is most likely, since 14 Street would mess up express service. However, 42 St has the middle track.
MTR Admiralty Posted June 7, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 7, 2010 If not South Ferry, then maybe 14 Street or Times Square? Can't be SF. SF is already putting out two service simultaneously, a third one would cause delays. The 3 COULD turn at Chambers, provided that the 2 goes local south of 14th. The 3 could turn at 14th, with the 2 going local south of Times Square. The 2 in either way would be affected.

They could also use the South Ferry loop...the trains could drop off passengers at Rector, run around the loop and re-enter service at Rector. It could still affect the other lines because you're forcing 3 lines into the same tunnels (Rector to Chambers)
