Sneezing

And God bless you if you're a little boy and you sneeze on the Pope...:eek::eek:

Anyway, I remember reading somewhere that you heart stops when you sneeze, so in the old days when you sneezed people said "God Bless You" so that you would be blessed and would continue on living. So I really don't see why this is still a courtesy when it doesn't even mean anything anymore.

I heard that also.

Is it possible to sneeze and have your eyes open? I tried but failed.

yep... I did that throughout elementary school...

kids kept asking me how/why did I sneeze with my eyes open.... it wasn't something I was trying to do... at that age, I thought it was perfectly normal......

that is, of course, when my sneezes started getting more violent as I aged... then I started sneezing "normally"....

I wouldn't call it a hidden talent, but not everyone can do it....
