Roadcruiser1 Posted October 18, 2010 Share #51 Posted October 18, 2010 Nope have the run express along the Culver Line to Avenue U. Don't run it to Coney Island. Coney Island can't handle any more then the , , , and .
Tokkemon Posted October 18, 2010 Share #52 Posted October 18, 2010 Why not just use a diamond ? That would be much more logical since when is an express really warranted other than rush hour? IMO, the should get its own line, not join with the Culver (that is, if it ever gets built).
Roadcruiser1 Posted October 18, 2010 Share #53 Posted October 18, 2010 The problem is the creation of a diamond would not save any time. Right now the wait time on the Culver Line is 6 minutes. If you create a diamond it would be 8 to 10 minutes. Also it would take extra drivers and train cars which would make it not worthwhile.
Eric Posted October 19, 2010 Author Share #54 Posted October 19, 2010 So I guess I won't make a Culver Express. Any other suggestions for the map, outside of the that I've already done? And I'm not doing the Triboro NX...at least not yet. Making the was difficult enough. Maybe in a third iteration. Another idea could be to utilize the lower level at Bergen St to connect the to Red Hook by curling it back around... Or sending the across Brooklyn connecting to the (;)/(Q) at Beverley, the (2)/(5) at Beverly, then across to terminate with the at Canarsie. Thoughts? Eric Posted October 20, 2010 Author Share #55 Posted October 20, 2010 I'm just curious as to what ideas the NYCTF users have.
