And also, why have to run in a short amount of time? Either they should make local between Jamaica Center and Myrtle Av-Bway every day and skip-stop rush hours between Myrtle Av-Bway and Marcy Av or run between Broad and Myrtle, and then run on to Metropolitan weekdays
Guest lance25 Posted October 11, 2010 Share #6 Posted October 11, 2010 The and the skip-stop function is necessary to keep overcrowding to a minimum on the line. Even if the and skip-stop were to be eliminated, the local would require more TPH and some of those trains would inevitably skip certain stops due to overcrowding. TrainFanatic Posted October 11, 2010 Share #7 Posted October 11, 2010 Whatever stops the skips durring rush hour the picks up and whatever stops the skips the picks up. Why make the go lcl from Jamaica to Myrtle and then skip stop from Myrtle to Marcy. Thats too long of a trip for commuters who work in the city. Service is fine the way it is.
