Grand Concourse Posted November 5, 2010 Share #76 Posted November 5, 2010 You actually think the MTA can be trusted to make the right decisions? It took a recession for them to get the message to start cutting lower used lines. MTA Bus needs trimming as well. If not for the antiquated buses, the PBLs were probably better off than MTA bus and their blank check.
GreatOne2k Posted November 5, 2010 Share #77 Posted November 5, 2010 That's true. I guess it's just not meant to be then. Well not sure if the final idea is to connect the SAS station to either 1st or 3rd Av on the , but I do agree with Kris: that 3rd Av is one stop from Park Av and 'redundant'. So I would say maybe by default 1st Av should be connected to the SAS. In that area Park Avenue is 4th Avenue or Union Square East. Park Avenue proper begins at 32nd St. Park Avenue South is really just a renamed 4th Avenue (even continues 4th Avenue's addresses).
