Cait Sith Posted October 31, 2010 Share #3 Posted October 31, 2010 The only route that MUST use certain equipment is the S89 which needs one of the several DOT-certified NG's. Their Orion Vs also have that DOT-Certified labels. Prompted to start this thread up having gone downtown and seen 3803 operating on the M8. I would have thought the 3800-3830 group of NGs would be pretty strictly limited to the M16 and M34 considering the GPSs installed on those. Is MJQ running very short on buses to be running one of those thirty on a non-GPS line? I know MHV is relatively loose when it comes to regulating those 3875-3899 buses stay on the M60, but I had no idea that those thirty at MJQ had the freedom to be on many different routes. Is this just an odd find or are those thirty NGs allowed to operate on any route necessary, with priority to the M34/M16? There are times where you would see an MJQ 3800 on other routes, on friday, 3820 was on the M9. There have been times where an RTS or an OG Hybrid crept up on the M16 and a 3900 on the M34 and M16.
