Novabus 5000 Posted April 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 7, 2008 Which do you like better. The 1987 or the 1990 TMC RTS buses?
trainfan22 Posted April 7, 2008 Share #2 Posted April 7, 2008 I like them both!! but before they put the extust pipe on the roof. The engine sounded better when the extust pipe was under the bus. I wonder what type of engine they had before they got their overhaul.....

'89 Liberty MCI Posted April 9, 2008 Share #5 Posted April 9, 2008 1987, 1990 with 6V-92TA, pre-repower. Considering how much better they were starting out with the good old 92, repowers these days can kiss my a**. If it comes down to when the 1990 series had their 6V-92TAs and you wanna compare that way, I'd prefer the 1987s just because they're from the 1980s and I like everything about the 80s (though I never did live through it, some good things came out of the 80s).
