EE Broadway Local Posted December 13, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted December 13, 2010 I saw this news and it brought back memories of the old A & P on Fort Washington Avenue, the Food Emporium at Union Square, and the Pathmark at 227 Cherry Street. Shortline Bus Posted December 13, 2010 Share #4 Posted December 13, 2010 Sorry to sound dumb but I thought Waldbaums was out of business. I knew there was a few "A&P' stores in the Northeast US.
EE Broadway Local Posted December 14, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted December 14, 2010 No, not dumb, Shortline Bus. In fact, there's a Waldbaum's at 8121 New Utrecht Avenue. Here's Waldbaum's webpage: http://www.waldbaum's.com Notice the style similiarity to: A & P: http://www.apfreshonline.com Pathmark:http://www.pathmark.com (a little different) Very different is: Food Emporium: http://www.thefoodemporium.com Food Basics: http://www.foodbasics.com

One of the few retail chains i have no real problems with. - A
