Lexington Av Local Posted January 26, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2011 What exactly is a 12-11? I know it is the code for "serious vandalism" but what is meant by this? Smashed Windows? An entire subway car with graffiti end-to-end? Also, does anyone have pictures of 12-11s?
CTK246 Posted January 26, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 26, 2011 if 12-11 is serious vandalism, I'd call up that R32
Noflexdont Posted January 26, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 26, 2011 My guess of a code 12-11 would be something that done to the train so it is unable to be used in customer service. Fire damage, serious body damage and windows smashed out. Just my guess. Regarding the picture there is no safety issue but a cosmetic issue. SubwayGuy Posted January 26, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 26, 2011 Fire has its own 12 code: 12-2 12-11 is any significant vandalism. Could be a graffiti burner on the exterior of the car. Just something that makes the car unpresentable for service and could warrant taking it out of service.

harpomarx42 Posted January 26, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 26, 2011 Call up these while you're at it! I think in the 1970's the code for this would be "Thursday".
