azspeedbullet Posted October 9, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2011 from queens to downtown brooklyn, is it faster to take the bus (B38 is the only bus that i can take) or should i take the L train to Broadway Junct. and transfer to the A train to Jay St? trainfan22 Posted October 9, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 9, 2011 There's timetables for all three routes on mta.info. You can compare the running time of the B38 from wherever you live at to Downtown BK vs your local train station to the line to downtown. There's also Trip Planner on mta.info which might be even more helpful than the first option.

error46146 Posted October 11, 2011 Share #6 Posted October 11, 2011 take the L to Lorimer for the G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn instead of getting the A in Manhattan. saves you having to go out to Manhattan and then back.
