Subway - What If?

I'm guessing you are talking about the IND.

(C) Uptown trains skip Ralph and Rockaway Avenues

That was easy!

Wallyhorse's solution:

(A) trains rerouted to Coney Island via Culver Express.

(C) trains terminate at World Trade Center.

(F) trains run via Fulton Street to Far Rockway.

Shuttle trains run from Transit Museum-Lefferts Blvd via Express.

:D

Stop getting aroused to the thought of the (J)(Z) going to Brooklyn. You don't need to keep posting your wet dreams here.

I just realized, the (J)(Z) do go to Brooklyn...

I refuse to solve something this complicated!:lol::lol:

Anyway, here's another scenario:

Because of a bomb thread, President St (2)(5) is impassible

Due to a derailment, the South Ferry loop is unusable

Due to a broken rail, the uptown local track at Brooklyn Bridge is unusable

(2) via the (3) to New Lots Avenue.

(3) Rerouted to South Ferry.

(4) Extended to New Lots Avenue, via Brooklyn Local.

(5) via the (4) to Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.

(6) Extended to Crown Heights-Utica Avenue via the (4).

So....

To South Ferry: (1)(3)

Brooklyn Local: (2)(4) to New Lots

Brooklyn Express: (5)(6) to Crown Heights

Nostrand Ave Line: Shuttle Bus

NEXT: (besides Q23's.......nobody will answer!)

The switches at West 4 Street are set as so:

Uptown 8 Av-6 Av

Downtown 8 Av-6 Av

Uptown 6 Av-8 Av

Downtown 6 Av-8 Av

Reroute trains, and don't foam too much, otherwise this thread will go BYE-BYE!

Shuttle bus......President St is shut down...I edited my post.

Foam Scenario: The system explodes, reroute the buses

Non Foamish Scenario: Because of a CSX at high velocity somehow connects to the (L) tracks (it is possible), and makes the entire Bdwy Junxtion Station Collapse when it gets there, you'll have to reroute trains

Foam: New flying buses are built on the spot by MTS, labeled the RTS-11 and service NYC until the system is rebuilt with the Second, Fifth and 9th Avenue subways. ;)

Non-Foam:

(L): Myrtle Avenue-14th Street & Atlantic Avenue-Rockaway Parkway.

(J): Crecent Street-Jamaica Center & Myrtle-Broadway-Broad Street.

Single track shuttles operate in the following areas:

(L): Bushwick-Aberdeen to Myrtle Avenue.

(J):

Myrtle-Broadway to Chauncey Street.

Alabama Avenue (if not damaged) or Van Siclen Avenue to Cypress Hills.

Simple. swap the 6th Avenue & 8th Avenue lines, running trains local as necessary, with the following stipend:

(B) trains ares suspended, and southbound (D) trains use the (F) line. Shuttle trains run between Broadway-Lafayette and Coney Island, labeled as (D) trains.

Dekalb Junction, (B), (D), (N), (Q), (R)

Atlantic Avenue, (B), (Q).

Good Luck! :D No foaming, please.

I'd just have select (D) trains single track to Grand Street, but other than that, it's perfect.
