NEXT: due to a fire, Canal St (A)(C)(E) is impassible. Because of this, some uptown (A) and (C) trains were terminating at Chambers St using the middle track north of the station. Unfortunately, one of them derailed on the switch to the spur, so the spur AND the uptown (A)(C) track at Chambers St are additionally unusable.

Have fun... :D

If it was an emegency, they would send:

(A)(C) Via Rutgers Street.

(E) To Lower East Side-2 Avenue via the (F).

59 St (A)(B)(C)(D)(1) is impassible. Try to make it without using 81 St, 125 St, 135 St, and 145 St as terminals or relays. Go ahead.

(A) No service b/w 72 Street & 34 Street-Penn Station, via CPW Local.

(B) No service b/w Bedford Park Blvd & 42 Street-Bryant Park.

(C) No service b/w 168 Street & 34 Street-Penn Station, via 8 Av Express.

(D) No service b/w 72 Street & 42 Street-Bryant Park, via CPW Local.

(1) No service b/w 96 Street & Times Square-42 Street.

(2) No service b/w 96 Street & Times Square-42 Street.

(3) No service b/w 96 Street & Atlantic Avenue.

A single-tracked shuttle runs b/w 96 Street & 66 Street-Lincoln Center.

Use Nearby (1) stations instead.

Next: Due to a 3rd rail fire and a extreme rail damage at 149 GC (2)(5) is impassable in both directions and due to a third rail outage in the vicinity of Central Park no (2)(3) along Lenox.

(2) No service b/w Freeman Street & 96 Street. Select trains run to 3rd Avenue, via southbound express.

(3) No service b/w 148 Street & 96 Street.

Reroute: (M), (R), (6), others if needed

Normal solution:

(M)(R) some trains run between 71 Av and 46 St

Some (M)(R) trains run normal route, express between Queens Plaza and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av

Some (R) trains run between 57 St/7 Av and Bay Ridge-95 St

Some (M) trains run between Metropolitan Av and Chambers St

Some (6) trains run express between Grand Central-42 St and 125 St

Some (6) trains run between Brooklyn Bridge and 59 St, local

Some (5) trains run via 7 Av Express

FOAM solution to NX Express's scenario:

Some (R) trains run via QBL Express, some run to Ditmars Blvd to avoid overloading the Queens Blvd Express tracks

(M) runs via Queens Blvd Express, other (M) trains run between 46 St and 71 Av

Some (E) trains extended to 168 St (signed as (K)) to avoid overloading the Queens Blvd Line

Some (F) trains run via the (D) to Norwood-205 St to avoid overloading the Queens Blvd Line

Some (M) trains run via the (B) to Bedford Park Blvd via CPW Express because I like to foam over express trains

Some (A) trains run via 6 Av local and terminate at 57 St to avoid overloading the CPW express tracks

(J)(Z) extended via 8 Av/CPW local to 168 St to provide an alternative to (A) trains

Because of too many trains terminating at 168 St, uptown (C) trains turn around at West 4 St, run via the (M) to Essex St, and then via the (J) to Jamaica Center (peak-direction express). This also provides an alternative to Queens Blvd (E) train riders.

(4) suspended

(5) runs to Woodlawn

(6) runs express, extended to New Lots Av to provide an alternative to the (4)

Special green (S) trains run from Brooklyn Bridge to 42 St via Lexington Av local, then relay north of 42 St, go downtown on the local track, turn onto the shuttle track, then run to Times Square to provide a connection to the (2) train (as an alternative to (5) trains which are not running on WPR)

Oh, I forgot. 42 St (S) trains run between Times Sq-42 St (on the 7 Av platform) and Flatbush Av just because R62As would look awesome on the Nostrand Av line.

The part of platform at Times Square is removed in order to allow select uptown service to run from Grand Central via 7 Av Local to 242 St  .

I meant that the track was impassable, so no 'skips 50 St northbound' are possible. That's way too easy.

And yes I know we're on 94, I just wanted an old scenario.

FOAM

(B) via 8 Av/Fulton Express to Rockaway Park

(D) via Broadway Express, QBL Express to Jamaica-179 St because the thought of an R68 on Queens Blvd makes my mouth water

(F) via Broadway Express, 4 Av express, West End Express to Coney Island

(M) via 8 Av Local, via Cranberry St tunnel, then via Culver to Coney Island to replace (F) (select peak-direction diamond <M> trains run via Culver Express)

(J)(Z) extended via Chrystie St/6 Av express to 34 St to replace (B)(D)(F)(M) on 6 Av

Due to an overload of trains on the Broadway Express, (Q) trains run via Broadway Local. Additionally, brown (R) trains (6-car R32s) run via Nassau St, turn at Essex St, run via the (M) to W 4 St, then via the (C) and (D) to Norwood-205 St. This also replaces the (J)(Z) on Nassau St.

Any rider who's confused by this solution is a complete idiot for not paying attention to announcements.
