Anyone knows what's really going on? I was able to get into the station using the other set of stairs across the street. The homeless guy directed me there.

Same side as the fruit stand? That means you're gonna have a lot of people crossing chrystie (which personally, I never cared for crossing....traffic's slowly gotten worse on it, since people use it to avoid the hangups on bowery).... Going to/coming from the hobby shops over around elizabeth/bayard & mott/worth, I would always use that particular entrance to get to the .... Sometimes I use the too to get to/from the hobby shops, but I prefer taking the ....

 

Anyway, I don't know what's goin on, since I haven't hit up the hobby stores as of the past couple weeks.... Your post here apprised me of the situation with the station....

Probably the puddle was bigger before you got there and to avoid any silly lawsuits, just close the damn entrance.
