Via Garibaldi 8 Posted July 1, 2013 Share #27 Posted July 1, 2013 Anyone ever see or try a 50 year old or even older twinkie? I heard some can last that long on the shelf and still taste alright! The thought of it is repulsive.

realizm Posted July 1, 2013 Share #30 Posted July 1, 2013 The US Military did develop the sandwich that can last over 3 years in 2012. Not kidding.
Turbo19 Posted July 1, 2013 Author Share #31 Posted July 1, 2013 The US Military did develop the sandwich that can last over 3 years in 2012. Not kidding. Granted, but such a sandwich is crafted using many different process. I doubt they can just go over to Key Food and pick up a loaf of Wonder off the shelf. Not saying it can't be done, but 50 years is a bit of a stretch.
