Metro North Conductor

No.

The Metro North Conductor test has zero questions directly related to the job.  They're all questions that you either know or you don't.

If the test is the same as two years ago, there is a section on vocabulary.  Another on arithmetic computation. A third section is mechanical knowledge and the last is the Hogan Assessment (personality test).

Each section is timed.

If you haven't already applied, just do it.  The worst that happens is you get invited to take the test and you don't make it.  Being there is no fee to take it, the only money you're out is your transportation expenses to the test site and what ever time you might miss from your current job.
