Jamaica Express Posted August 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2007 Does anyone remember back when WTC express service was offered from Newark?
Pablo M 201 Posted August 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2007 No wonder on some PATH PA-4 cars that lead LED destination signs have a program for express.... But yeah, I don't remember this being done. Maybe before my time? Let me guess the stops: Newark, Journal Square, World Trade Center. (Maybe Exchange Place also?) Jamaica Express Posted August 19, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 19, 2007 No actually it was a Rush Hour express that ran from Newark to WTC non-stop,they also had one that ran from Hoboken to WTC with no stops, the reason they had to discontinue this was because with the short-headways the express would always end up sitting behind a local, the only place an exp train can overtake a local is at JSQ on track
