Regardding Avoid Delay Flight Status CA0981

I need your help. My mom thinks arrive time for this flight is at 1:11pm, and she think it not late because scheduled time arrived at JFK is 1:30pm.

However flight statis shows EN ROUTE- Delayed 36 minutes. (Does anyone here knows what this means)

Does anyone know who is correct?

I try typing CA0981 here, but it doesn't show up.

If it says en-route delayed, it means what it says...delayed. Your mom should have been notified on the plane already of the delay.
